Who Are These People?

What you're looking at here is decades of expertise infused with fresh perspectives. We know our stuff. We've seen the world. But who are we? Let the associates tell you in their own words below.

 Wendy Quesinberry

Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Wendy was raised on the Space Coast of Florida watching the Space Shuttle launches from the front yard of her home in Melbourne. Originally with sights on being a fine artist, she received a BFA in graphic design from Savannah College of Art and Design.

As principal of Q&A, she helps clients shift paradigms, become more sustainable, and serve their communities better. Her agency has partnered with notable clients including: Amazon, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Gates Foundation, Gates Ventures, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holland America Line, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Microsoft, multiple NGOs, Trupanion Medical Insurance for Pets, and UPS. The studio has received numerous awards and has been recognized by HOW Magazine, Graphis, GDUSA, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, and several prestigious design compendiums.

A dedicated advocate for the design community, Wendy received a AIGA Fellows Award in 2019. This recognition is bestowed upon designers who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in practice and conduct within their local or regional design community as well as in their local chapter. She’s a 2025 founding board member working to revitalize Seattle’s AIGA chapter after its dissolution due to the pandemic. She has served as Chapter President (2006–2008), Advisory Board Member (2013–2020), and Director for the 2015 AIGA ReDesign Awards.

Beyond AIGA, she has been deeply involved in the creative world. She served as Director of The Seattle Show (2008–2011), a premier annual awards event for advertising and design, and has also served on the boards for multiple arts organizations and nonprofits. She has been featured on design podcasts, moderated panel discussions, and presented to design audiences. Wendy previously held an adjunct professor role at Cornish College of the Arts and conducted a leadership workshop for young women at Stanford University.

The zenith to date was her early 2000s video debut as the handwriting model for the Microsoft Tablet Launch. Rob Lowe walked on stage to a video clip of her hand writing his name on a tablet. A dream come true for any girl (or boy) who crushed on Sodapop Curtis.

Her favorite travel experience was visiting Cambodia. The landscape, ancient architecture, and history there are so thoroughly unique, and the people so warm and welcoming, in direct contrast to the horrors endured during the reign of the Khmer Rouge.

She believes everyone should love the film director Terry Gilliam. Most especially the director’s cut of the movie Brazil. As of her favorite foods. Well. Her favorite food is meat.

 Todd Christensen

Mr. Christensen not only designs, he also manages the interactive and production aspects of the studio. He blends strong design sensibilities with rigorous technical expertise, ensuring every deliverable—whether a website, long-form report, fact sheet, or presentation deck—is polished, consistent, and the most ideal solution for a client’s needs.

He works closely with our team from the start, participating in strategy, writing and creative brainstorming. In addition to designing for print and screen, he develops ready-to-deploy systems for content management in multiple media ecosystems and can tutor clients on content strategies and management.

This army brat grew up on three continents and a dozen army bases. So he's always ready with a backpack and a passport to see more of this world. Prior to Q&A—and after a rough start as a grip in the movie business—he established a career in marketing, advertising, and design working for a number of Seattle advertising agencies including DDB Seattle, Hunt Marketing Group, and Cole & Weber. He produced creative materials for national and international clients such as Amazon, Boeing, Bank of America, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Nestlé, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Nintendo, and UPS. Not to mention contract work for innumerable dot-com startups.

Of course then there is the “Mirror Mirror” universe version of Mr. Christensen. This Mr. Christensen exists in an alternate reality to our own. A universe only theoretically accessible via a matter transporter malfunction in conjunction with, say, a severe high-energy ion storm. In this universe our alternates exist, identical in every way. In every way except eye patches. Or goatees. Or excessive eye make-up. And bad habits of conquering technologically inferior planets.

In this alternate universe Mr. Christensen appears as shown.

 Alfredo Biralde III

If there was a Navy SEAL equivalent for client service skills, Alfredo would be in SEAL Team Six. He's a senior project manager and client partner whose career is rooted in communication, empathy, and disciplined execution. His experience spans healthcare and patient services, philanthropic and community events, and large-scale multi-channel design and production efforts. He brings a steady, organized leadership style that helps teams simplify information, navigate decisions, and keep ambitious projects moving forward with confidence.

Since joining the studio, Alfredo has managed initiatives for clients that include Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce team, the Gates Foundation, Gates Ventures, Proponent Labs, Trupanion, Kindering, and several Northwest institutions. He works closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and vendors to organize workflows, align stakeholders, and translate strategic goals into materials that feel intuitive and human across both print and digital platforms.

Before Q&A, Alfredo spent several years in healthcare supporting kidney and liver transplant patients and their families, where clarity and compassionate communication were essential. We first met him as Event Manager for our long-term client City Club of San Francisco, coordinating corporate, philanthropic, and community gatherings in fast-paced environments. That client-side background strengthened his expertise in detailed logistics planning, stakeholder collaboration, and balancing multiple priorities at once, qualities that now inform how he partners with creative teams and anticipates what clients need from a design studio.

Born in the Philippines and raised in San Francisco, Alfredo brings a meaningful appreciation for immigrant communities and diverse lived experiences across cultures. Clients know him for a warm energy, steady presence, and genuine dedication to partnership. His communication style is clear, approachable, and grounded in helping organizations connect more authentically with the people they serve.

Outside the studio, Alfredo often builds connection in the kitchen cooking Japanese food or on the dance floor to a favorite 90s track. He counts Paris as his favorite place and became engaged to his husband at the Pont de l’Archevêché overlooking Notre-Dame, a moment that reflects the relationships and sense of joy he carries into his work and community.
