AOME is a premium residential architecture firm, helping clients express themselves through a custom home. They design and create a vessel for life’s experiences—more than a warehouse of things or an art piece—a home with meaning.

Q&A has worked with the firm since 2008 on a myriad of brand and marketing projects, with design and development of their website kicking off the partnership. When the time came to refresh AOME’s brand, our long-standing relationship gave us insight into how the brand was evolving and the functionality required to showcase the vast library of images, videos, testimonials, and precision details generated by this high-end residential architecture firm.

Our Approach

Our design is a function-first approach, focusing on the challenge of organizing and cross referencing their library of custom homes. We categorized projects to be searchable by architectural style such as Northwest Contemporary, Mid-century Modern, and Transitional Traditional, as well as materials and award winners. Each home featured has its own detailed page describing the project and listing the team of sub-contractors necessary to complete the vision.

The benefits of a continuous working relationship is that we’re able to see new ways to help clients fulfill both marketing goals and internal processes. AOME is technically savvy and with the first two iterations of their website, we created maintenance manuals giving them the tools to take charge of updating their site. As we catalogued their WordPress development questions and helped them manage any roadblocks, we found a way to streamline their process. Based on development work for other clients, the solution became clear—migrate from the WordPress platform to Wix.

Our Solution

The updated site caters to a sophisticated audience, guiding the user through AOME’s collaborative approach. It features motion graphics and a Q&A-produced video showcasing AOME’s mission to create unique expressions that’s shine and lift their client’s spirits every day. The Wix platform gives their team an easy-to-use and more intuitive content management tool.
